In 2008 in the United States 57.4 percent of all paper consumed was recovered for recycling. That is 340 pounds for every man, woman, and child living in this country. U.S. paper recovery has grown by 78% since 1990. The paper industry has set a new recovery goal of 60% by 2012.
In our shop we carry several papers which have a significant recycled content. If you are concerned about recycling paper on your printing projects we would be glad to help. We can even indicate the recycled paper content on any of your printing projects.

Priority Printing is now a Michigan Great Printer
Priority Printing & Graphics, Inc. has been accepted as a member of the Michigan Great Printer Project. The State of Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Environment has approved our company to be a Michigan Great Printer. This distinction is given to printers in the state who make a commitment to reducing pollution, thus reducing raw material consumption and eliminating waste materials. Three major pollution reduction goals must be set and met by our company over a two year period.
Our company has already been using equipment and waste disposal methods which help reduce pollution and save our environment. For instance, one of the products we use is a Chemgon jug. Using this product we simply pour our spent plate making chemicals into the jug where they are rendered safe to dispose of in any landfill without danger to the land and water.
Our company has always opted to use printing methods, equipment, and supplies which reduce pollution even though its costlier.

Can Small Business Owners Benefit From Commercial Printers
Often business owners have a misconception regarding commercial printers ability to serve their needs. While some commercial printers are geared towards large volume print jobs there are many printers who would be ideal choices for small scale business printing.
Short run printing is now a reality and can have volumes in the hundreds and be affordable without sacrificing quality. We often service customers with full color projects as low as 250 pieces. Products include business cards, flyers, postcards just to name a few.
With the advent of wide format printing small business owners can purchase posters, POP materials in low volume as well. Short run full color presentation folders are even available.
